Patches
PLEASE FULLY READ THE RELEASE NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING PATCHES TO YOUR SYSTEM. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS AS TO WHICH PATCH YOU SHOULD SELECT AS INSTALLING AN INCORRECT VERSION CAN CAUSE YOUR ARCADE TO STOP WORKING!
Below are the patches available along with their release date and patch notes, please not while we strive to make sure that each patch can be used by downloading the most recent version which would encompass all previous patches, it is best practice to download the patches one at a time in order to get you up to date. Each arcade leaves here with the most recent patch installed but there may be subtle differences, so please download and install all patches in order from the arcade purchase date, if updating. DO NOT APPLY PATCHES TO YOUR SYSTEM THAT ARE DATED BEFORE YOUR DELIVERY DATE OR YOUR ARCADE COULD STOP WORKING.
For example: If you purchased your arcade on September 15th 2023, download and install patch 1.4 then patch 1.5.
Patch Installation Instructions
****Instructions
1.Unzip the file onto a USB drive
2.Insert USB drive under the control panel once arcade is fully on
(the arcade is in the main menu)
**if the USB does not automatically open follow steps 3-5
**otherwise skip to step 6
- Use a USB keyboard and mouse and press the WINDOWS KEY (to the left/right of space bar)
(additional USB ports are located on the front of the PC inside the cabinet if needed) - Type in “file explorer” and open it / press enter
- open your USB drive in file explorer
**if the USB automatically opens continue from here
- Double click on PCEngine_Patch xxx.bat
- Unit will patch and restart
- Remove USB drive when it restarts
- Enjoy!
